    • The different types of electrical hazards.
    • How to minimize risk by using the hierarchy of controls.
    • Electricity Primary Hazards;
    • Shock, Burns, Arc blast, Explosions & Fires.
    • Minimizing Electrical Risks.
    02- Fire Safety:
    • The fundamental concept of Fire.
    • Fire – A real & present danger.
    • How does fire start?
    • Fire Classification
    • Fire Safety.
    • Fire Prevention – First Line of Defense.
    • Mitigation.
    • Response.
    • Insipient Fire Response.
    • When it is Safe to Fight a Fire.
    • When it is NOT Safe to Fight a Fire.
    03- Pressure Safety:
    • The fundamentals of Pressure Safety Management. 
    • The policies, standards, and procedures in place to minimize the associated risk to ALARP.
    • Importance of conforming to the standards and following them for everyone's safety.
    • Oilfield Pressure Safety
    • Pressure Hazards in the Oilfield.
    • Geologic Pressures.
    • Well, Servicing Pressures.
    • High-Pressure Services.
    • Low-Pressure Services.
    • Tools & Equipment that use Pressure.
    • Prevention Measures.
    • Training & Assessment.
    • The Main MITIGATION Measure.
    04- Radiation Safety
    • The fundamental concept of the use of radioactive sources in the oilfield.
    • General radiation safety management.
    • Radiation Safety.
    • Oilfield Radiation Safety Considerations.
    • X-ray (or Source) Non-Destructive Testing.
    • Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials.
    • Well Servicing Sources.
    • Risk Control in Well Servicing: ALARA.
    • DISTANCE: ALARA.
    • SHIELDING: ALARA.
    • Dosimetry.

    Note: This course assumes you are not an employee who has direct and active use of Radioactive Sources in your job role.
