    Rigless Well Intervention - Workshop

    Overview of Well Intervention.

This workshop is to familiarise the trainees with their role in principal activities of Well Intervention, and when Well Intervention is used during the well’s life cycle.

Students have already been introduced to the Well Intervention’ principal activities (coiled tubing, slick line, stimulation, etc) and any repetition should be avoid. The workshop is based on exercises. The present module, although delivered in a classroom, is practical without any use of Power Point slides, unless expressly required by the trainees. For this purpose, the instructor should have back-up presentations on coiled tubing, stimulation, types of work-over rigs, etc.

The instructor shall be challenging the students all the time, asking them to solve the exercises by themselves; students shall provide solutions which must be entirely discussed in the class. Only after these discussions, the instructor will provide the right answers.
