    Course Summary:

    • This comprehensive course covers essential health, safety, and environment (HSE) topics in the oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) sector. Participants will gain insights into industry standards, safety practices, and risk management strategies to promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. This course is designed for all new hires in the Oil and gas Exploration and Production Sector. It covers 20 HSE Awareness topics of Health, Safety, and environment in the Oil and gas Exploration and production industry.
    Course Objective:

    1. Understand Industry Fundamentals:
      • Gain a foundational understanding of the Oil & Gas Exploration and Production (E&P) sector and its unique HSE challenges.
    2. Enhance HSE Awareness:
      • Build awareness of critical Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) topics relevant to the E&P industry.
    3. Learn Industry Standards:
      • Familiarize participants with key HSE regulations, standards, and best practices within the oil and gas sector.
    4. Promote Safety and Sustainability:
      • Develop skills to identify and mitigate workplace hazards, ensuring a safe and sustainable operational environment.
    5. Prepare New Hires:
      • Equip new industry professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to integrate HSE principles into their roles effectively.

    ·         Develop strategies to manage and mitigate fatigue risks to enhance employee well-being and performance.

    Session 19: Basic Emergency Response

    ·         Understand the components of an effective Emergency Response Plan (ERP).

    ·         Acquire the skills to respond efficiently to emergencies, including evacuation procedures and crisis management.

    Session 20: Observation Intervention (Behavior-Based Safety, BBS)

    ·         Learn the principles of Behavior-Based Safety and its role in fostering a proactive safety culture.

    ·         Develop observation and intervention techniques to identify and address unsafe behaviors effectively.
