    Course Summary

    This comprehensive course covers essential topics related to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) in the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production (E&P) sector. Participants will gain insights into industry standards, safety practices, and risk management strategies to promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. The course is designed for all new hires in the Oil & Gas Exploration & Production industry Sector. The course covers 15 HSE Awareness topics of Health, Safety & Environment in the Oil & Gas Exploration & Production industry.

    Course Objectives
    • By the end of this 3-day course, participants will:
    • Understand the fundamental principles of HSE in the oil and gas industry.
    • Be equipped with the knowledge and tools to identify hazards and manage risks effectively.
    • Know how to implement safety protocols, including PPE, PTW, and LO/TO procedures.

    Certification
    •  Participants will receive a certificate of completion, acknowledging their understanding of HSE principles in the Oil & Gas E&P sector.

       Session 3: Fundamental Concepts of Health, Safety & Environmental

      ·           - Key principles of HSE, including risk management and the hierarchy of controls.

      ·           - Building a safety culture within organizations.

       Session 4: Personnel and Asset Security

      ·         Identifying security threats in the O&G industry.

      ·         Implementing effective security measures and emergency response plans.

       Session 5: Environment

      ·         Understanding the environmental impacts of O&G operations.

      ·          Overview of regulations and mitigation strategies.

       Session 10: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

      ·         Purpose and importance of PTW in managing work-related hazards.

       Session 15: Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LO/TO)

      ·         Definition and purpose of Lock-Out/Tag-Out in ensuring worker safety during maintenance.
